Preview: Charles Fazzino Limited Edition Pins

Updated: Apr 19

Coinciding with the 2024 Olympic Torch Lighting Ceremony, we review the details of the ceremony and preview the artist-designed limited edition pieces that we are adding to our 2024 Paris Olympics Ceremonial pins.

The Ceremony

Performed since the first games in Athens, Greece, the lighting of the torch symbolizes more than hope and rebirth. It has been a deep-rooted tradition and link to the Ancient Olympic Games, where the torch would burn throughout the event.

This year, the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Lighting Ceremony will begin in Athens on Tuesday, April 16th at 10:30 CEST. The flame reaches Marseille, France on May 8th and will be carried throughout the next 68 days, culminating in Paris on July 26th for the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Charles Fazzino Limited Edition Pins

Charles Fazzino is a world-renowned artist who has done work for several professional sports leagues and major events such as The Super Bowl, MLB All-Star Game, the 2016 Summer Olympics, and various award shows such as the Grammy and Emmy Awards. His typical work consists of blending together vibrant colors and designs in a 3D pop art style. You can see some of his past lapel pin designs from Super Bowl XL, below.

Fazzino's artwork is returning to Classic Pins for this year’s 2024 Paris Olympic Games in the form of two highly collectible, limited edition products.

The USOC Team USA Fazzino Paris 2024 Olympic Long Lapel Pin is a numbered, 3D, hard enamel collectible lapel pin and comes with custom packaging and an authentication hologram. It will be sold for $99.95, a price that is matched by its quality and authenticity. Add this keepsake to your assortment of Olympic memorabilia and give your display a boost in value and show.

The second is a gift box set that includes The USOC Team USA Fazzino Paris 2024 Olympic Long Lapel Pin and six other hard enamel, limited edition Fazzino pins from the 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing, 2012 London, 2016 Rio, and 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The price point for this pin set will be set at $174.95 and serves as an incredible foundation to any limited edition Olympic pin collection, especially for collectors looking to get their hands on collectibles from years past.
